2015 Bass Phillip Old Cellar Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with a very pale straw hue. Lifted aromatics of ripe peaches and dried honey are married to biscuity oak and cashew with nougat and spice following on. Possessing a sense of lightness and elegance yet creamy like in its texture the palate has flavours of peaches and dried apricots overlaid by beeswax and lemon butter characters. Finishes fresh and dry with a touch of spice. Aftertaste of lemon butter, bees wax, subtle cashew and spice.
