2015 Bass Phillip Gamay

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue showing excellent depth for the varietal. Violet top notes overlay ripe dark cherry, incense, scorched earth and spice aromas. Light weight the palate has brightly lit flavours of red cherries that sit alongside hints of sour cherries with subtle earthy cedar and spicy dried herb infusions on the back palate. Finishes with fresh acidity and refined tannins. Aftertaste of red cherries intermixed with some sour cherries, light cedar and spicy dried herbs.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
