2015 Barringwood Pinot Gris

A Superb Pinot Gris that retains its traditional varietal character without sacrificing any of its textural qualities or richness for the sake of extra freshness.

Brilliant water like colour with a greenish tinge. Lifted aromatics of fresh pears intermixed with lychees and musk are followed by citrusy honeysuckle like notes and some confectionary. The palate combines intensity of flavour with a rich luscious textural feel and a lively fresh finish. It features mouthfilling ripe pear, lychee and musk over some faint honeysuckle and spice with bright cleansing acidity. Excellent depth with a long luscious aftertaste of ripe pears, lychee, musk, traces of honeysuckle and spice. A beautifully balanced Pinot Gris.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
