2015 Barringwood Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Nosing reveals lifted aromatics of violets, dark ripe cherries and anise infusions followed by some meatiness and spicy cedar. Light in body the palate features a good power wave with savoury flavours of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and a touch of anise over spicy cedar and meaty characters. Vibrant finish with finely grained tannins showing good integration. Finishes with a long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise, spicy cedar and a light meatiness.
