2015 Artiste Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a very dark red, nearly brick red hue. The nose throws up a mixture of mulberry, tobacco leaf, red currant, dried herb and spicy cedar notes. The palate show more generosity and ripeness with initial blackcurrant and mulberry flavours overlaid by tobacco leaf and dried herb characters with some spicy cedar in the background. There’s a slight bitterness to the finish. Fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of mulberries, tobacco leaf, dried herbs and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
