2015 1314 A.D. Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals fleshy white and nectarine aromatics overlaid by dried honey with ensuing citrusy nougat and light spice notes. Medium bodied the palate features upfront fruit flavours of fleshy white peaches and nectarines which meld into some subtle dried honey characters. Citrus and lightly spiced nougat follow through on the fresh finish. Elegantly creamy texture with a long white peach, dried honey, citrusy nougat, cashew and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
