2014 Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz

Matured in seasoned and new French and American oak barrels for 18 months.
Outstanding colour saturation displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are laced with subtlety toasted vanillin cedar followed by hints of dark chocolate and blackpepper. Full bodied the palate is blessed with superb richness and an opulent mouthfeel sporting liquorice, ripe blackberry and black cherry flavours over a back drop of lightly smoked vanillin cedar and pepper. There’s a sturdy feel to the velvet like tannins which provide an excellent framework. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice, subtlety smoked vanillin cedar and blackpepper aftertaste.
