2014 William Downie Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent, slightly cloudy, dark red colour with a dark red hue. Enchanting aromas of red and sour cherries are intermixed with plum, distinctive meaty characters, light clove and spicy cedar. Light and nimble the sour cherry flavours are more prominent than the red cherries on the palate with following meaty clove like characters and light spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins. Bright acidity with an aftertaste of sour cherries, dried meats, smoky cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
