Fruit for this fuller styled Chardonnay was sourced from the Frankland region with maturation taking place in a mixture of new and aged French oak barrels for a period of 8 months. Fifty percent of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation with regular lees stirring adding complexity and texture.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a very faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach aromas are intermixed with some honeycomb, creamy cashew, nougat and light spice. Medium to full in body the palate features a rich flavour profile of ripe peaches, cashew, honeycomb and nougat over a background of spicy toasted oak. The wines full creamy texture well counterpointed by some fresh acidity on the finish. Long ripe peach, cashew, honeycomb and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
