Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Stalky dark cherry top notes are overlaid by meaty clove like scents with underlying spicy toasted cedar. Light in body weight but with good depth and a supple mouthfeel the palate has flavours of dark cherries and strawberries over some game meats, faint earth, lightly smoked cedar and dried herb infusions. Velvet smooth, perfectly integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries and strawberries infused with dried herbs, game and spicy lightly smoked cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years.
Alc 12.5%

Other Reviews….
Riddled with exotic spices through both the bouquet and palate, the rose petals and violets of the bouquet backed by a relatively delicate palate. Has more life and freshness than some of the door stoppers of the vintage. Drink by 2021.
