2014 Wagner-Stempel Riesling Trocken

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe limes and apple with a light honeysuckle overlay and minerally wet stone end notes. The palate has a zippy freshness about it with flavours of apple and lime intermixed with a touch of honeysuckle over a dry flinty mineral infused finish. Crunchy acidity with an aftertaste of ripe apple, lime, faint honeysuckle and flinty mineral. A light, elegant Riesling with plenty of zest.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
