2014 Voyager Estate Girt by Sea Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot matured for 12 months in old and new French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry intermix with cedary tobacco characters, hints of black olive and subtle dried herb notes. Medium weighted with an elegant feel the palate expresses an amalgam of red currant, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters, dried herb and spice flavours. Slightly dryish finish with dusty tannins. Aftertaste of spicy red currants, mulberry, dusty cedar, tobacco and dried herbs.
