Luján de Cuyo, is known historically as the ‘prime zone’ for wine-growing in Mendoza. Its high elevation location, in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of high quality fruit.

Magnificent glass staining inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Powerful aromatics of black cherry, liquorice and ripe blackcurrant waft through the nostrils with dark chocolate, vanillin oak, earth and spice ensuing. The palate has tremendous volume and depth with intensely concentrated rich blackcurrant, black cherry and liquorice flavours generating a luscious mouthfeel. Underpinning the plush fruits are vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth spice. Velvety yet structural tannins with a long imposing finish of ripe blackcurrant, black cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, light scorched earth and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 15%
