2014 Tscharke Estate Grenache Mataro

A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mataro. Semi translucent dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. The nose exhibits lifted ripe dark raspberry and juicy plum top notes followed by a hint of liquorice, confectionary and faint spicy earth end notes. Soft and joosy the palate is filled with ripe raspberry jube and plum flavours followed by a touch of liquorice, confectionary like characters and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe raspberry jube, plum, confectionary and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
