2014 Trentham Estate Shiraz

Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherry are followed by toasty oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with good richness the palate sports ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours over a background of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe black cherries, toast, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Excellent depth of colour displaying an inky black purple core with a deep dark purple hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark cherries are followed by spicy vanillin cedar. Medium to full bodied with more than ample richness for its modest price the palate features supplely textured flavours of liquorice, dark plums and fresh ripe blackberries over vanillin cedar and spice. Soft velvety tannins with low acidity. Finishes with an aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums and spicy vanillin cedar. Its round supple mouthfeel and rich fruit flavours make this an ideal drink now proposition.
