2014 Trentham Estate Merlot

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays ripe dark cherry and plum aromas over some vanillin oak and spice. Softly textured and possessing good generous fruit the palate has flavours of dark cherries and ripe plum over some chocolatey oak and spice. Very soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum and spicy oak.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
