2014 Torbreck The Factor Shiraz

Spectacular colour saturation displaying a thick, black as night core with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils with a strong overlay of toasty vanillin oak. Some ensuing fennel infusions and spice are also present. Undeniably rich and very concentrated the palate boasts a viscous textural feel and luscious dark plum, ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours over some toasty vanillin oak and spicy dried clove infusions which tend to linger a bit too long on the finish. Outstanding power with velvet smooth tannins and long aftertaste of ripe dark plums, blackberries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak, dried meats and spice.
