2014 Terre a Terre Rouge

A blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 28% Shiraz and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months, the Cabernet Franc in a new 4000 litre foudre and in old 225 litre barriques for the Shiraz and Cabernet. Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright crimson purple hue. The nose displays aromas of freshly crushed red cherries, dried herbs, mulberry, dusty cedar and spice. Elegant with light to medium body weight the palate has flavours of mulberries, dusty cedar, faint tobacco, dried herbs and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of mulberries, dusty cedar, dried herbs and spicy tobacco. An elegant Cabernet blend.
