2014 Tellurian Pastiche Shiraz

Matured for 10 months in mostly seasoned French oak barriques. Excellent depth of colour displaying an impenetrable black dark purple core with a deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced aromatics of dark plum, liquorice and black cherry blossom from the glass overlaying vanillin cedar, crushed rock and white pepper. Rich mouthfilling palate with fruit driven flavours of ripe black cherries, liquorice and to a lesser extent blackberries dominate over spicy vanillin cedar, notions of crushed rock and blackpepper. Fine grained yet quite robust tannin structure. Medium to long pepper infused aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and crushed rock.
Cellar 5-6 years.
