2014 Tapanappa Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay

Barrel fermented in new (33%) and used barriques and left on lees for partial malo-latic.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays intense aromas of peaches, cashew, dried honey and biscuity oak followed by nougat and spice. Rich, yet fresh and at the same time possessing a creamy texture the medium weighted palate features flavours of peaches, poached pears and cashew over some dried honey, a touch of lemon butter and nougat. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of lemon butter, cashew, dried honey, nougat and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
