Scotchmans Hill’s first vintage was in 1986 and since then they have gone on to become one of Bellarine Peninsula’s leading wineries. Matured in a combination of new to 4 year old French barriques for 12 months. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted aromatics of ripe peaches intermixed with dried honey characters and cashew are followed by a hint of nougat with spicy end notes. Medium bodied the palates creamy textural feel is offset against a fresh lively finish whilst featuring flavours of ripe peaches and honeycomb with a lick of butterscotch also evident over some spicy cashew and nougat. Long aftertaste of peaches, subtle honeycomb, light nougat and spicy cashew.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc 13.5%
