2014 Ryder Watervale Cabernet Sauvignon

A great quaffing Cabernet with plenty of richness and varietal character.

Excellent colour displaying an inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted blackcurrant and mulberry scents laced with cedary tobacco characters are followed by spice end notes. The palate possesses good weight and a rich juicy flavour profile of blackcurrant infused with ripe mulberries and a touch of liquorice over some well integrated cedary tobacco nuances and spice. Very fine grained tannins provide some grip on the finish. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant and mulberry, a touch of liquorice and cedary tobacco characters.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
