Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark to black raspberry and liquorice aromas ascend from the glass with vanillin oak, confectionary and spicy pepper notes also evident. Full bodied, lavishly textured and extravagantly rich, succulent black raspberry, liquorice and black plum flavours engulf the mouth underpinned by spicy vanillin oak and a burst of pepper with some heat on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Outstanding power with a long decadent aftertaste.
