2014 Plantagenet Lancaster Shiraz

Opaque bright dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of pepper, liquorice and red cherries emerge from the glass with subtle vanillin cedar and spicy dried meat characters also apparent. Medium weighted, elegant and spicy the palate has flavours of red fruits and liquorice laced with pepper over some vanillin cedar and meatiness with the peppery characters carrying through to the finish. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of pepper, red fruits, liquorice and meaty characters.
Cellar 5-6 years.
