2014 Peel Estate Chenin Blanc

Matured in 450 litre French oak puncheons. Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Nosing reveals ripe red apple and tropical fruit aromas laced with honeyed pears followed by quincy end notes. On the palate tropical fruit, baked apple and quince flavours intermingle with some honeyed characters and a lick of spice. Nicely textured with an off dry finish and aftertaste of tropical fruits, honeyed characters, baked apples and spicy quince.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
