2014 One Block Glory Yarra Valley Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Blackberry and liquorice aromas rise from the glass over some vanillin cedar and a hint of dried meats with peppery end notes. Medium bodied with good tension the palate has tightly wound and elegant flavours of blueberries, dried meats, liquorice and blackpepper over some smoky cedar and a touch of earth. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins providing ample structure. Meaty mouthfeel concluding with an aftertaste of blackpepper, dried meats, liquorice, vanillin cedar and earth.
