Established in 2008, Onannon is a joint venture between three up and coming winemakers, Sam Middleton, Kaspar Hermann and Will Bryon with a focus on Mornington Peninsula & Gippsland Pinot Noir. Their early releases have received great acclaim and we can expect to see big things from this talented trio in the future.

Powerful & Rich, this is a Superb expression of Mornington Pinot Noir

Good depth of colour with a dark red black tinged core and a very dark crimson red hue. Excellent aromatics with hints of violets intermixing with dark cherries and clove followed by some smoked meats, earth and spice. Possessing plenty of weight and richness the palate features sumptuous flavours of spicy ripe dark cherries and strawberries with background nuances of dried meats, a hint of clove, earth and spicy cedar. Excellent power wave. Velvet smooth tannins with a long conclusion of spicy ripe dark cherries, subtle clove, dried meats and spicy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.6%
