2014 Mr Riggs Yacca Paddock Tempranillo

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals black cherry, liquorice and fresh dark plum aromatics over subtle cedary, new leather like characters with spicy end notes. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a slightly chewy textural feel the palate has flavours of black cherries, liquorice and dark plums over some light leathery cedar like characters with a fresh spicy finish. Elegant, restrained feel with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, subtle leather and spice. Will fill out further with time in the bottle.
Cellar 4-5 years.
