Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lemon and lime aromas burst from the glass followed by some orange rind, talc and light mineral end notes. The palate easily matches the intensity of the nose delivering concentrated, mouth watering flavours of lime and citrus over orange rind and light green apple with a mineral infused finish. Excellent racy mouthfeel with a long aftertaste of lime, citrus, orange rind and mineral. Easily ranks as one of the top 2014 Rieslings we’ve tasted and without a doubt one of best Ben Riggs has produced.
