2014 Moss Wood Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Subtle violet notes mingle with red cherry and strawberry aromas followed by a hint of mint and faint spicy, sappy cedar. Light in body but possessing good power the palate sports flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries interlaced with faint traces of anise, some meatiness and spicy cedar. Quite savoury and supple in the mouth with bright acidity and very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe red cherries, strawberries, some meatiness and spicy cedar. Requires some bottle age to build complexity.
