2014 Morgan Vineyards Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a brick red hue – quite advanced for a 2014 red. The nose reveals aromas of dark cherries intermixed with meaty characters which are overlaid by toasty oak, some earthy leather and spice. Very supple texturally the palate features flavours of dark cherries and ripe strawberries followed by toasty oak, earth and spicy dried meats. Low acidity with velvet smooth tannins and an aftertaste of dark cherries, ripe strawberries, toasty oak, earth and spice.
