2014 Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose displays a scented white peach top note followed by some cashew, light dried honey, nougat and spice. Light to medium weight, fresh and elegant with a nicely balanced textural feel, the palate is generously flavoured with white peaches and dried honey over some cashew, nougat and spice. Exhibiting a slight creaminess it finishes fresh and lively. Long aftertaste of ripe whites peaches intermixed with traces of dried honey, cashew and spicy nougat. Will fill out and build in texture with bottle age.
