2014 Mollydooker The Maitre D Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit for this Cabernet is sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark plums are intermixed with cassis and liquorice followed by some spicy lightly toasted cedar. Full and ripe the palate has sweetly fruited flavours of dark plum jam, cassis liqueur and a touch of liquorice over a background of toasty oak and spice. Opulent round mouthfeel with soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plum jam, cassis liqueur and spicy toasty oak. The fruit will be a touch too sweet for some.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
