2014 Maxwell Little Demon Shiraz Grenache

Produced from co-fermented Shiraz (79%) and Viognier then blended with 18% Grenache. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. The nose displays good aromatic lift with scents of ripe blackberry and liquorice intermixed with a dash of dark raspberries followed by vanillin confectionary and spice. Rich with a lavish opulent texture the palate is swamped with luscious blackberry, liquorice blueberry and subtle dark plum flavours underpinned by some vanillin oak and delicate spice. Soft rounded tannins. Excellent concentration and depth finishing with a long succulent aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, blueberries and spice. Gorgeously lush and rich this is delicious drinking right now.
