Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple red hue. On the nose oily shearing shed like aromas are hard to overcome with hints of dark cherry, liquorice and earth also present. Showing more appeal the medium weight palate has flavours of dark plum, apricot, liquorice, meaty earth like characters and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, apricot, meaty characters, earthy cedar and spice.
