2014 Massena The Twilight Path

A blend of 70% Primitivo, 20% Mataro and 10% Graciano. Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of Morello cherries, black plum and liquorice with Christmas Cake end notes. Soft, fleshy and joosy the palate possesses medium bodied flavours of ripe Morello cherries, black plums and liquorice intermixed with some Christmas cake characters followed by a spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy ripe Morello cherry, black plum, liquorice and light raisin characters.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
