2014 Linfield Road The Black Hammer Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Very ripe blackcurrant and dark plum aromas meld into some vanillin cedar and hints of black olive with spicy dried herb end notes. Full bodied with a solid backbone the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice over vanillin cedar and black olive infusions. Dry, very spicy finish with firmish tannins and bright acidity imparting a sense of inky rigidness to the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, black olives, vanillin cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
