2014 Levantine Hill Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

This blend has been aged for a short period in new and seasoned French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green included around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of fresh herbs and pears are overlaid by a touch of grassiness and citrus followed by some faint spicy cedar end notes. Quite full and texturally rounded the palate features intense flavours of pears and citrus infused with dried herbs followed by some spicy cedar. Clean dry finish with good lively acidity. Long aftertaste of dried herbs, pears, subtle asparagus and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
