2014 Leconfield McLaren Vale Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak hogsheads. Impenetrable inky black core with a bright dark purple black hue. Nosing offers up ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas over some dark plum, subtle vanillin oak and a touch of pepper. Rich, lush flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice fill the mouth with a backdrop of vanillin oak and spice. The fine grained tannins having an underlying firmness. Aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
