2014 Kurtz Family Vineyards Boundary Row Grenache Shiraz Mataro

A rich, lavish GSM with plenty of spice.

Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of liquorice, chocolate coated raspberries and plum rise from the glass over earthy vanillin oak and spice. Rich and lush the palate is awash with succulent flavours of liquorice, black raspberries and ripe black cherries over a backdrop of scorched earth, vanillin oak and spice. Outstanding concentration with a dense opulent mouthfeel and velvet like tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of liquorice, black raspberries, black cherries, scorched earth and pepper.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
