Established in 1997, Kilikanoon has established a reputation for producing world class, iconic Shiraz from vineyards located in the Barossa & Clare Valley. Winemaker Kevin Mitchell also produces more budget priced offerings, producing wines that offer ‘Killer Value’ under the Killerman’s Run label, with fruit now being sourced from entirely low yielding Clare Valley vineyards.

Rich & succulent this consistent performer is always a benchmark in the value for money stakes

Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a deep very dark purple hue. The nose shows off excellent aromatic intensity with liquorice, ripe blackberries and black cherries prevalent over some vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium to full in body weight with rich succulent flavours of liquorice and freshly crushed berries including ripe blackberries and black cherries swamping the palate over some slight inkiness, vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet like tannins have an underlying structural feel. Long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, inky earth like characters, vanillin cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14.5%
