2014 Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Red and sour cherry aromas emerge from the glass overlaying a light meatiness, dried herb infusions and subtle spicy cedar notes. Light and lively with fresh fruit flavours of red cherries mixed in with hints of sour cherries followed by subtle dried meats and spiced earthy cedar nuances. Bright finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red cherries, some sour cherries, an earthy meatiness and spicy cedar. A pleasant light Pinot with good freshness.
