2014 Innocent Bystander Syrah

Inky black dark purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. Fragrant aromas of inky freshly crushed berries, liquorice, smoky oak, earth and faint pepper. The palate is generously flavoured with ripe dark cherries, blackberries and liquorice over a dry inky earth and spice finish. The tannins have a faint chalkiness but are otherwise fine grained and well integrated. Aftertaste of inky ripe dark cherries, liquorice, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
