2014 Heathcote Estate Shiraz

Magnificent super saturated inky black purple colour with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Showing some restraint the nose offers up aromas of blackberries, dried meats and liquorice followed by some vanillin cedar with a peppery overlay. Medium to full bodied with an elegantly textured mouthfeel the palate sports rich blackberry and liquorice flavours with underlying vanillin oak, dried meats and spicy pepper. Excellent length and structure with finely grained yet sturdy tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, vanillin oak, dried meats and pepper.
Cellar 6-8 years.
