2014 Hay Shed Hill Malbec

Superb colour saturation displaying a black as night core with a very deep black crimson red hue. Lifted inky ripe dark cherry aromas emerge from the glass with liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice also present. Medium bodied with a chewy finish the palate has inky mixed berry flavours alongside traces of liquorice, earth and spice. Dry firm tannins impart an inky, chewy mouthfeel. Aftertaste of spicy mixed ripe berries, pen ink and earth.
