$455.88 Dozen
Cellar: 6 - 8 Years (2023-2025)

Certified organic. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Scented aromatics of blackberries and liquorice meld into some smoky vanillin cedar, earthy crushed rock nuances, dried meats and white pepper. Rich, yet elegantly framed the palate dishes up a savoury flavour profile of blackberries, dark cherries and liquorice which merges into lightly smoked vanillin cedar, crushed rock and meaty pepper characters. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins have a sturdy feel. Long spicy dark cherry, blackberry, liquorice, subtlety smoked vanillin cedar, crushed rock and pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 14.1%

Other Reviews…
This will morph into something rather special - it's too youthful now but already it has the hallmarks of a finely-tuned, expressive Frankland River shiraz. Heady aromatics of florals, dark fruit, licorice, pepper and wood spices with chiselled tannins and clearly defined oak. Some creaminess on the palate adds another layer of complexity. Drink by 2030.
