2014 Elderton High Altitude Barossa Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in American and French oak puncheons. Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple hue. Aromas of liquorice and dark plums are to the fore with following black cherry, toasty oak and spice notes. Medium to full bodied with ample richness the palate features succulent dark plum and liquorice flavours over vanillin cedar, a touch of scorched earth and spice. Velvety round tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
