Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of mulberries and blackcurrant are overlaid by prominent cigar box and tobacco leaf nuances with spice end notes. Medium to full bodied, ripe mulberry and blackcurrant flavours to the fore infused with a strong cedary tobacco character followed by traces of bay leaf and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish on the finish with very fine grained tannins. Spicy aftertaste of ripe mulberries, blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and a touch of bay leaf.

Other Reviews….
From estate vineyards in Wilyabrup and Yallingup, crushed and destemmed to separate tanks with cultured (Bordeaux) yeast, pumped over with a Turbopigeur for 14 days, matured in French barriques (10% new) for 10 months. Very good hue; oh to be able to make a cabernet as good as this for a price as low as this. It is literally flooded with cassis, the mouthfeel supple and feline, the length and aftertaste spot on. Drink by 2029.
