2014 Crabtree Hilltop Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a blend of older French and American oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red black hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice are followed by some mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium to full bodied with a solid structure and chewy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and a touch of mint over some cedary tobacco characters and spice. Dry firm tannin structure. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
