$323.88 Dozen
Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2020-2021)

Totally opaque black red colour with a bright purple red hue. Fragrantly scented with incense, liquorice, blackberries and plums over a subtlety smoked cedar and light pepper background. Medium bodied the palate has ample richness and an elegant meaty mouthfeel that features flavours of black cherries, subtle liquorice, smoky cedar, dried meats and pepper. Very fine grained well integrated tannins have good underlying structure and together with the wine’s bright acidity provide the framework. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, black cherries, smoky dried meats, clove and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews…
Deep crimson-purple; unlike the colour, the moderate alcohol gives no clue about the wine, full to the brim with saturnine black fruits, the tannins part of the wine's DNA; says Tim Kirk on the back label 'Ten years in a cool cellar would do it no harm at all', my only question being what about 20 years? Drink by 2034.
